HBRC Day 15-Favorite series or Favorite book as a young adult
Today we are asking you to share what was your favorite series or favorite book when you were a young adult?
Julie's series:
The Trixie Belden series was one of my favorite series as a young adult. I know, probably a bit young for YA but I collected them into my late 20's! I started collecting them when I was about 12. I would shop at flea markets, used book stores, garage sales. Then I found that I could write to the publisher and they sent me out an order form and kept me up to date on new releases. I used my babysitting money to buy all of my own books. Then after I got a job and married I still bought them. The series ended with number 39, and I always have wanted to know how the Belden's and all of their friends turned out.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe this! Before I even scrolled down to see your full post, the first series that popped into my head was Trixie Belden! My mom had a box full that she had collected, and I read every one of them!
