Forever Young Adult is a blog that is fairly new to me. I've come across it before, but never really taken the time to look at it. I think I had to "like" it on Facebook to register for a contest or something.
If you are an adult in love with young adult literature. You definitely need to visit this blog. The blog is geared toward adults. It is funny and snarky and has several hilarious commentaries. As you can see in the screenshot above, one of their posts was about YA Deal Breakers. Basically, what is something that will cause you to refuse to read a book. For the creator of the blog, Sarah, it is fairies and a couple other things.
The blog contains a very detailed description of their book rating scale under the term Grading on the navigation bar. Also, The Caf is a discussion board connected to the blog. Be sure to stop by and check them out. I'm sure you'll find something you like. (They have even developed drinking games for some books - Sweet Valley High, the Twilight movies, Anne of Green Gables. See, I told you. This site is geared to adults.)
Here's Julie's example:
I found Southern Sassy Things not too long ago during Waterfall Wednesdays. I love the way Christy has "Southern-Style Meet and Greets" with authors. Usually in the interview Christy will ask an author if they like sweet tea or unsweet tea along with other charming Southern questions that entertain her readers. Christy recently had a great 30th birthday bash on her blog. It was a week long celebration of giveaways and author interviews. Even though I didn't win anything I enjoyed the interviews and visit Christy's blog quite frequently.
Great pick. I love Forever YA
